“ICYMI: $RNGR Tokenholders voted to liquidate @ranger_finance last week in a rare example of investors using onchain governance to unwind a project and return treasury funds, just two months after the token launched. The decision follows a proposal introduced on March 3 by a group of $RNGR holders who alleged the team made material misrepresentations about the business prior to its fundraise. The proposal passed, with 5,047,250 $USDC removed from Ranger’s treasury and liquidity pool to be distributed among $RNGR tokenholders. Ranger originally launched its token using @MetaDAOProject's futarchy based governance system, a model designed to allow markets to guide governance decisions.”
